FAQs

Where do you hold your Group Singing Classes?

Our group singing classes are held at a number of venues in South Bucks and Berkshire, at present these are:-

Bourne End, Bucks - Most Thursdays at 6pm at the Bourne End library

Twyford, Berks - Most Tuesdays at 2pm at the Loddon Hall, Twyford

Henley - Launching September 2019, details TBC

Gerrards Cross - Most Thursdays at 2:45pm at GX Memorial Centre

Amersham - Wednesday afternoons at St Michaels Church Rooms Amersham

Please contact us for further information about the nearest venue to you as we are launching new groups regularly. We make sure our venues are accessible to all and have easy parking and good public transport links.

How Much Does it Cost?

Classes cost £10 per session on a "drop in" basis or £8 per session if you buy a block of 5 classes (which don't have to be taken on consecutive weeks). We know not everyone can make a commitment to be at class every week which is why we structure the fee on a "pay as you go" basis.

What Sort of Music do you Sing?

Songs from the shows, swing and big band songs, 50's songs, silly songs, whatever we enjoy really! We are open to suggestions from members too as to what sort of music they would like to add to our repertoire.

Do I need to be able to read music or be an experienced singer?

No definitely not! All you need to take part is an enjoyment of music. We tailor our choice of music to suit the abilities of the group. The main emphasis is on having fun, not necessarily giving a perfect performance - although of course if we can do both then that's even better!

What should I wear or bring?

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Loose clothing is normally best to allow free breathing. You might want to bring a bottle of water to sip.
